Nico Casal - It's Fine, But It Hurts

There’s a deep sense of peace and tranquility that is found within Nico Casal’s latest track, “It’s Fine, But It Hurts.” However, as the title suggests - there’s a bit of melancholy and darkness lurking behind the piano melodies as well.

The Spanish born composer and producer has created quite the intimate piece with this song. How the piano moves in and out of focus with a tinge of sadness attached to it is quite beautiful and relatable to anyone who has endured a difficult time. I can also appreciate the beautiful string section that can be found behind the piano melody - both creating such a soft and delicate sound.

In Nico's words, “‘It’s Fine But It Hurts’ represents that feeling I had of realising everything will be ok eventually. It was one of the strong conflicting emotions I had that Sunday when writing the album. I was aware I was going through a difficult phase for several reasons, including a break up, but at the same time I knew it wasn't the end of the world, I knew it will be ok."
