Tom Blankenberg - London Fields
The song opens with a minimalistic piano, very delicate and light. As the melody carries on, we’re introduced to a second chord progression that carries with it a sense of nostalgia and warmth. Upon first listen it doesn’t feel expected to hear this second melody but it such a cozy feeling - this little world Blankenberg has crafted is deeply appreciated.
I’d recommend throwing this song on right as the sun is setting or in the late evening as it pairs amazingly well after a long day when moments of peace might be needed.
