For Miles - ICE-772
Review: For Miles - ICE - 772
Written while traveling on train between Nürnberg and Berlin, “ICE-772” is a spacious, neo-classical and ambient infused song written by the Australian producer, For Miles (Joseph Miles Moorhouse.)
Opening the song is a gorgeous serious of spaced out orchestral strings that calm the listener within seconds of hearing. As the atmosphere begins to shift, a hi-hat and minimal layer of percussion are introduced. Together with the strings, they form a hopeful but at times melancholic sound.
I deeply appreciate the timing of every instrument in this track - each part is introduced and allowed to breathe at its own pace. The end result is a stunning piece that any ambient fan will love.
