Innerviews - First Light
The Swedish multi-instrumentalist and composer Kalle Engström shares with us his latest single, “First Light” from his neo-classical, ambient project, Innerviews.
“First Light” carries with it a gorgeous assortment of a warm string section. Each melody and note is filled with a deeply intimate and yet equally inviting sound. Though some moments feel a bit melancholic, when stepping back and digesting the song in its entirety, you feel a sense of hope and peace floating through the track.
Innerviews had this to say regarding the track, “This song was written as a song of transformation. At the moment, I felt I was stuck in a place I did not like very much. I wanted to compose a song that was focusing on the future, looking forward to a place of peace and light.”
