Lowercase Noises & Blurstem - Ochre
It was a wonderful surprise to discover Lowercase Noises & Blurstem collaborating on the lovely track, “Ochre.” Being that each artists holds a special place within my ambient/neo-classical heart, I was more than delighted when I heard this track.
The blend of ambient swells and tender piano chords immediately struck me within the first few seconds of hearing, “Ochre.” The layers that swirl in and out of focus underneath the main melody are hazy, dreamy and incredibly comforting.
After collaborating together via Twitch in a live stream, Lowercase Noises and Blurstem (Chris Bartels) began to send stems and files back and forth until they had this gem of a song, ready to share with the world.
