The Secret Whistle - A Talk Inside The Piano
Having met back in college, the two close friends Forest Gallien and Daniel Friedman joined together to create the ambient, downtempo project The Secret Whistle. Most recently, the duo shared with us their track, “A Talk Inside The Piano” which quickly caught my attention as a beautiful piece that does a wonderful job of bringing together elements of downtempo, post-rock and neo-classical music.
The song carries with it a day dreamy sorta of style and vibe - one that makes you feel like you’re floating through the day. It’s an inspiring track that features two different sections. The first has a more bright, uplifting tone to it where the second half of the arrangement is a bit relaxed and introspective. Everything about “A Talk Inside The Piano” is heavenly and I’m thankful to have encountered this wonderful song.
