visrei - Sans Effort
We found the perfect track to accompany you on those late night summer adventures, one filled with uptempo melodies and captivating vocal melodies. “Sans Effort” taps into that hazy, chillwave sound by providing the listener with a laid back yet energetic and motivating atmosphere.
Crafted by the Canadian artist and producer, visrei, “Sans Effort” is the opening track from his latest release, Kin EP. In a constant search for harmony and freedom, he draws on eclectic influences (from Yasutaka Nakata to Sky Ferreira and My Bloody Valentine) to paint sound murals covered with synthesizers superimposed on powerful rhythms. Together, his songs form a singular wave of pop in which we are carried away with delight.
As the song slowly builds, we’re greeted with the lovely textures of birds chirping and the melodic notes of a bright and warm piano melody.
Opening the song is a ghostly like vocal melody that floats over a hypnotic beat. Coupled with some gorgeous guitar hooks and piano keys, together it’s the right combination to sink yourself into.
Inspired by the raw beauty of nature, AUSKLANG crafts cinematic post-rock music for people to get lost within. “Woge” is the first official release from the group, and it’s quite the stunning piece.
The track features a wide range of organic and synthetic instruments such as a Persian Ney flute, African mallets, percussions and vintage synthesizers in form of Korg's Wavestation and Moog's Minimoog.
“The process of creating Light Echoes ended up being a journey of self-discovery. Trying to get an understanding of the world; past, present and future, and how I see myself fitting within this landscape has always been a constant struggle. “
“The track is a celebration of the moments when we live firmly in the now, remembering to cherish that time with our loved ones.”
This balance between loneliness and openness that can mutate from one second to the next, without any warning. To illustrate this feeling, I chose to talk about a specific moment of the day: the few minutes before falling asleep.
Blending ambient swells with neo-classical strings and post-rocks is quite the difficult task but Wide Waters stepped up and created the perfect soundscape.
If you’re looking for the perfect way to relax and unwind this Sunday afternoon, I highly recommend giving a listen to Sonant’s track, “Hartman.”
This song came together really quickly. Alone in my bedroom, I was playing around with my OP-1 Synthesizer making arpeggiated loops while experimenting with stretching, shrinking and warping the samples in Ableton.
